Redistricting Committee - Local Action Team -- CANCELED
About this event
Our League has agreed to join and work with the LWVWA Statewide Redistricting Reform Task Force. The goal is to reform the Washington State redistricting process before the 2031 redistricting cycle takes place. This will require passing a constitutional amendment. This local committee will meet monthly on the second Thursday of each month through June 11, 2026.
Our agenda is below:
- Update on the state board retreat
- Update on the state redistricting committee including impact of the Texas actions
- What should our committee be doing to support the state committee efforts?
- Democracy Lobby Team
- Issues you want to discuss
