On June 23, 2022, the Commercial Aviation Coordinating Commission heard a detailed presentation on possible sites for a new large airport to handle the demand that SeaTac and Paine Field will not be able to meet by 2050. The presentation covered market analysis, geographic limits, criteria, and essential factors for ten sites.
