Wild Wallace County Park

LWVSC supports the citizens’ group Sky Valley Future and its proposal for a new Snohomish County Park around Wallace Falls. The proposed Wild Wallace County Park is approximately 5,300 acres of mature forest just north of Hwy 2 by Gold Bar.  This park will connect Wild Sky Wilderness to the east, Wallace Falls State Park to the west, and the Skykomish River Valley to the south.   The new park will improve the health of people, ecosystem and watershed. It will reduce the impact of overcrowding at Wallace Falls State Park, provide much-needed trails, strengthen our community and economy.
