We have essential work to do as democracy comes under increasing attack. The League of Women Voters plays a major role in protecting and sustaining democracy; and you can make a significant contribution. If you are interested in sharing your time and talent on behalf of League goals, the nominating committee would like to talk to you before the end of February.
The LWV Snohomish nominating committee has been working to identify candidates for Board terms starting in July. A wide variety of skills are valuable for our work. These include coordinating volunteers and committees, teaching or public speaking, familiarity with underserved communities, and event planning. Other useful areas of expertise include accounting, advocacy, communications, technology and fundraising.

Contact the nominating committee if you are willing and able to get more involved and make a difference. Also share suggestions for admired colleagues who would be an asset on the Board.
