Thank you to everyone who joined us in celebrating Constitution Day across Snohomish County. From Edmonds to Monroe, Snohomish to Marysville, and beyond, League members and community partners came together to read, reflect, and honor the guiding document of our democracy.
Over the course of seven events, more than 130 people participated, with over 150+ pocket Constitutions distributed and dozens of meaningful conversations sparked. Readers included elementary, middle, and high school students; parents, librarians, Girl Scouts, local media, and League volunteers. Highlights included a second-grade student reading the Preamble in Snohomish and at the Everett Girl Scout office, and a middle schooler, high school Girl Scout, and community partners sharing passages together.
Your presence, thoughtful questions, and active engagement made each gathering memorable and meaningful. With students, families, librarians, Girl Scouts, community leaders, and neighbors lending their voices, we celebrated the enduring power of the Constitution and the freedoms it protects.
Events like these remind us that our rights and responsibilities are not abstract—they are lived and strengthened when we come together to share, listen, and learn. We are deeply grateful to all who gave their time to participate and to support this important dialogue.
