Parking lot is at the end of the road. Brief climb up, over and down ramp that is over the railroad tracks. Wear appropriate shoes! Carpools are advised.
About this event
Members will tour the park to view the salmon recovery work done to Picnic Point Creek as it flows into Puget Sound. Daniel Howe of Surface Water Management and Jay Tavarez-Brown, Healthy Forest Project Coordinator will be our guides. Expect some areas of short uneven terrain. Parking lot is okay but not expansive, please carpool! Portable toilets are in parking lot.
We will follow this tour with lunch at the Azteca restaurant at 11811 Mukilteo Blvd. Please email Joan Smith for lunch reservations by June 9th: joan.a.smith@gmail.com.
