Our League has agreed to join and work with the LWVWA Statewide Redistricting Reform Task Force. The goal is to reform the Washington State redistricting process before the 2031 redistricting cycle takes place. This will require passing a constitutional amendment. This local committee will meet monthly on the second Thursday. 

Together, we will:

  • Educate ourselves and other League members about the details of the campaign and related work.
  • Build relationships with local organizations who will also support redistricting reform.
  • Build relationships with legislators and make them aware of the League’s objective.
  • Create local districting events to educate residents and push for needed reforms.
