A group of concerned citizens asked The Daily Herald to find a way to expand its coverage on the impact of climate change to our local environment, economy, and health. In response, the newspaper established the Environmental and Climate Change Reporting Fund, which enables the community to support the journalism it values through tax-deductible donations. The Daily Herald hopes to grow the fund so it can sustain a full-time reporter dedicated to covering environmental and climate change issues.
You can help make that happen by making a one-time or a recurring donation to the Environmental and Climate Change Reporting Fund. The fund is held by Journalism Funding Partners, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that oversees community contributions and ensures they are used as intended.
