LWVSC will send letters of congratulations to all of the local elected officials this holiday season. In years past (pre-Covid) we celebrated the holidays together and invited local elected officials to join us, but because we have moved away from geographical units, it is not feasible to invite all of them to one place.
The LWVSC Board and the membership committee agreed that another get-together isn’t a priority this year, and that we could let our local representatives know they are appreciated without having a party–and not chancing snowy weather like last year! We look forward to gathering in February for our League Birthday Party!
