For the past 3 years, Carl Johansen has been the best Storage Unit Manager we could ask for. He even helped us move from one storage unit to another. But all good things come to an end, and as one door closes, another opens. Carl is retiring as Storage Unit Manager but will still be around as a stalwart League member. I hear he’s really good with By-laws.
What would you do as the Storage Unit Manager? You would check in on the storage unit to see that it is properly stocked. If it needs something, you tell the person in charge of producing that item and they get it printed or purchased and bring it to the storage room (such as brochures, party, and tabling supplies). Carl and Jeanne Crevier chose a really great space for our storage unit that is easy to get in and out of and to see what is there. The storage unit is in Mountlake Terrace, just off I-5, and very easy to access from Edmonds, Lynnwood, or Brier, as well as Mountlake Terrace.
You would also coordinate with the Tabling Coordinator to get the tabling bags to those who are registering voters and publicizing the League at community events. Mostly, they can meet you at the Storage Unit to pick up what they need. The complete job description is linked
here. Carl and I would be happy to answer any questions you might have. Please consider this most interesting volunteer job and
email or give us a call.
