Here are a few ways League members engaged in resisting threats to democracy this past month:
- LWVSC’s Resisting Threats to Democracy Lead (and LWVWA RTD Co-Lead) Wendy Colbert spoke at the March LWVSC all-member meeting on 2025 accomplishments at the national, state, and local level, and 2026 LWVWA RTD strategy. She also shared a preview of a video shown at the LWVWA RTD Town Hall.
- The LWVWA RTD committee hosted a Town Hall March 25th that asked members to contribute their successes and ideas as we continue into 2026.
- LWVSC had a presence at multiple No Kings III rallies on March 28th, including Edmonds and Everett, at which LWVWA’s president Karen Crowley spoke.
- LWVUS hosted its monthly Democracy Integrity Briefing (for League members only).
In April:
- Make time in your calendar to take action on daily democracy practices (for League members only).
