League President Lisa Utter is ready to answer questions at the International Women’s Day event at the Edmonds Waterfront Center.
The League of Women Voters of Snohomish County joined in celebrating International Women's Day with a table at the Edmonds Waterfront Center on March 7. March is officially recognized as Women's History Month.
League President Lisa Utter and President-elect Brenda Mann Harrison represented us. A photo of them at our League table – along with information about the event – was included in My Edmonds News.
Lisa and Brenda were surprised at the number of women who stopped by and wanted to talk about LWVSC. The question they heard most was, "How can I be involved?"
If you’re asked that question by friends or others in the community, how will you respond?
This flyer, which we offer at our League table during events, helps people understand the ways they can get involved.
