By the time this article is published, the Snohomish County Charter Review Commission will have voted on their proposed amendments for 2026. There have been 26 proposals, of which 25 were sponsored, and at the last meeting held in Mountlake Terrace on Wednesday, May 27, there remained only five to vote on. It has been an interesting process where reports from Kelly Zinn and others have been captured and shared on the Observer Corps webpage.
See Lisa Utter’s excellent

Where do we go from here? The Commission approved five proposals. I do hope you were able to attend in person, or at least followed up with the recordings. The proposals will be presented to the County Council for their information, and they will be prepared for the public to vote. You can find the proposed charter amendments
