The LWVSC Board has set three overall priorities for the coming year, each creating opportunities for members to strengthen our League and expand its impact across Snohomish County.
For 2026–27, our work will focus on:
- Strengthening leadership, governance, and compliance.
- Deepening inclusion and belonging.
- Sustaining our capacity for civic engagement.
The Board will carry these priorities forward, but they are not Board work alone. These priorities open practical opportunities for members to shape how LWVSC welcomes people, supports members, builds future leaders, and grows its impact. That might mean mentoring a newer member, helping tell local voter stories, supporting an event, building a community connection, or lending your experience to a project that helps us empower voters and defend democracy.

Member feedback invites ideas, questions, and energy for bringing these priorities to life and helping guide our work throughout the year.
Whether you are a longtime League member or just finding your way into our work, there will be many ways to take part during the year. Watch for opportunities to share your perspective, join a project, help at an event, invite someone new, or connect the League with your community. No matter how you get involved, it’s your time, perspective, skills, and relationships that can help make LWVSC stronger and expand our impact across Snohomish County.
