Expanding Our Outreach Displays

Our LWVSC Community Outreach Display Team continues to provide voter and civic information through informational displays at public libraries.
In July, we were at the Brier Library, one of the smallest Sno-Isle Libraries. But our impact was big. When team member Julie Titone arrived to remove the display, librarians gushed over the comments they heard from library visitors who looked at the display. One librarian said, “People especially enjoyed reading the ‘Why I vote’ notes.”
In August, the team finally got to have a display at the Everett Public Library Main Branch in the former coffee shop area that has been transformed into a book sale space. In addition, we were granted permission to provide additional voter information on a bookshelf near the reference desk on the second floor.
Stop by and check out the current display at the Everett Library. We’ll be there through September. Be sure to tell the librarians how much you learned from reading all the great voter and civic information from the League of Women Voters of Snohomish County!
