About this event
The Snohomish County Parks Department spent a year redesigning the Meadowdale Park outlet which goes under the Burlington Northern tracks to the Puget Sound. Molly Beeman, County Energy and Sustainability Manager and Park Assistant, Jay Traverez-Brown, will guide us and explain the work.
The main access entry at 6026 156th St. SW is a steep 1.25 mile (each way) hike down and back up from the public parking lot–not for the faint hearted but a beautiful trail! Our guide will meet us at the top to lead us to the waterfront.
Directions to parking:
Take the 164th Street SW exit off of I-5. Follow 164th Street SW west to 164th SW. Turn right to cross Highway 99. Turn right onto 52nd Avenue W. Turn left onto 160th Street. Turn right onto 56th Ave W. Turn left onto 156th Avenue W. The park entrance is at the end of the road.
