Don't miss it! We are honored to have Snohomish County prosecutor Jason Cummings as our guest speaker at this all-member event. Jason will discuss the county-wide proposition that is on the November ballot to increase sales and use tax by two-tenths of one percent (0.2%). The funds will be used for public safety, health, and criminal justice purposes. We will also hear:
- from Duncan Clauson about the postcard project that the League conducts with the Elections Office as well as voter registration outreach to the county jail
- the latest developments in the national League's efforts to fight voter suppression
- how the state League is preparing us for this election and next year's legislative session, and
- what you can do within Snohomish County to raise voter awareness and participation in this most consequential election.
