LWV Elder Care Consensus Meeting
About this event
This is the heart of LWV work. Each of us with either be a caregiver or need a caregiver at some point in our lives. This study focuses on caregiving in Washington state and specifically caregiving for vulnerable adults 60 years of age or older who reside in their own homes and communities. The League of Women Voters of Washington authorized the study at its May 2023 convention. This is your opportunity to participate in the process for reaching consensus on the issues identified in the study. The state board will use the feedback provided by local Leagues to develop state positions. How can you participate? First, we ask that you read the study. (see Links below) Second, participate in meeting designed to provide information, facilitate discussion, and answer the consensus questions. Scroll down to the questions at the end of the form. LWV Snohomish County will be holding this one meeting. Registration will help us plan this event. Consensus is an active process with live back and forth. If you can not attend, but have information the group should be aware of regarding the consensus questions, please, contact us. We hope that each of you will participate in this important process.
