The Center for Responsible Forestry estimates there are about 27,000 acres of mature or legacy forests on public lands in Snohomish County that are subject to logging in the near future by the Washington Dept. of Natural Resources (DNR). Our League has set an immediate objective is to support our county in protecting these forests.
